GLUE PAIN GHOST
GLUE PAIN GHOST, a video and music object by composer JUAN CALDERON and video artist JANE HSU, explores images and objects that usually escape our everyday perception. Hopping ghosts and corpse-smelling flowers that bloom in the dark are projected inside a found popcorn maker from an abandoned carnival yard.
The music is installed inside of the box, emitting a metallic frequency. It is performed on a found object from Kyoto junk pile and a wire hanger. The piece sounds like a memory coming from an unknown tunnel in the ground.
